DB Holidays

I have just finished shooting a series of images for the 2010 DB Holidays brochure which is due out at the end of October. It was a wonderful opportunity to go behind the scenes in some of the more expensive houses in the Rock and Polzeath area! There were many interior and exterior shots as well as some evocative landscape and lifestyle images.

Jill and I were at one particular property in the early afternoon and the next guests were due by 3 o'clock. Jill asked if I could take a photograph of the bathroom as it had just been refurbished and was looking particularly good. It was impossible to get the angle I wanted so I resorted to going outside and shooting through the window. Unfortunately, the window level was above my head. No problem! Next thing I know, a chair is being passed out through the window. Ideal! Got the shot, just passed the chair back through the window....and turned to hear a crunch of gravel as the guests arrived!
